Much of the wood used is repurposed from fallen and dead trees, giving the box its unique characteristics. Boxes are sanded and finished with three coats of lacquer for long-lasting durability.

This box is made from beautiful, reclaimed, wild cherry, with poplar lid, that comes from a region in Kentucky/ Memphis, Tennessee. The cherry is absolutely gorgeous with the clean Poplar lid and Blackwood knob.

Many boxes have decorative knobs re-shaped from segmented bowl scraps from my father’s segmented bowls created over the past 20 years.
