No two boxes are alike!

This box is made from beautiful, reclaimed, Aspen that comes from Estes Park, Colorado. The ‘feather’ knot sets this unique piece apart. It is a gorgeous display and utilitarian piece. The Aspen was picked up as scrap wood in Estes Park, CO that had been cut into stumps around 6-9 inch diameter. I sliced and planed the wood into usable strips. The remaining pieces not suitable for box material is usable for other projects. I try not to waste any of the natural resources I acquire.

Dimensions: 9.9 x 3.3 x 3.0 (not including lid) (Boxes are measured in inches- Length, Width, Height - Measurements are approximate)

Many boxes have decorative knobs re-shaped from segmented bowl scraps from my father’s segmented bowls created over the past 20 years.
