Spalted Hickory Box with Walnut Lid and oval Yellow Heart knob
Most boxes are made from various species of wood that come from regions of Kentucky, Illinois, and Indiana. Much of the wood used is repurposed from fallen and dead trees, giving the box its unique characteristics. Boxes are sanded and finished with three coats of lacquer for long-lasting durability.

No two boxes are alike!
This box is made from beautiful, reclaimed, spalted hickory, with walnut lid, that comes from the regions of Indiana / Kentucky. This is a gorgeous box from reclaimed Hickory. The spalting and the patterns in the grain are out of this world. This Hickory is absolutely stunning! The Walnut isn’t so bad either!
Dimensions: 12.75 x 5.1 x 4.3 (not including lid) (Boxes are measured in inches- Length, Width, Height - Measurements are approximate)
Many boxes have decorative knobs re-shaped from segmented bowl scraps from my father’s segmented bowls created over the past 20 years.
